What a pleasure it was to sit down with Bart Campolo back on April 7th! Yes, Bart is the son of the evangelical legend Tony Campolo, and together they are coauthors of Why I Left, Why I Stayed: Conversations on Christianity Between an Evangelical Father and His Humanist Son. But more importantly, Bart is the secular chaplain at USC, the host of his podcast Humanize Me, and a true friend of mine here at The Clergy Project. We had a great time hanging out back in April and now YOU get to join us via Humanize Me: Episode 212, which aired yesterday! Conversation centers on my personal story and the work of The Clergy Project.
I apologize for my ramblish disorientation at the start of the interview—it took me a few minutes to realize we had started recording right out of the gate. Not the brightest bulb right here haha… ENJOY!
